Debugging family life together

The Nerdy Parents Club of Cambridge

Est. 2025

It's Sunday night, and you realize you haven't made a plan for feeding your family this week. And you think:
That's it. No more of this recurring stress. I'm going to code this problem away.

If that actually sounds like you, good news: You've got kindred spirits!

We are parents in Cambridge, MA getting together to build tailored solutions for each of our families. We share survival tactics, vibe-coding tips, entertaining stories, and child-proof deployment strategies.

Why does this club exist?

Let's answer with a poem.

Your family is unique, unlike any other.
So, your solutions shouldn't be either.

When you build tools to tame your own chaos,
simple tricks can create magic.
Twice as sweet with other parents cheering you on,
it's fantastic.

An app that knows how your mind clicks.
A button for your partner's quirks.
A system that grows with your kids.
As they mature beyond bibs.

Use technology to simplify.
Get your time back,
reach up high.
Spend it on what makes life fly.

The Nerdy Parents Club is for you if

You don't want family logistics to eat up all your time and energy.
You like coding things into existence or are excited to learn.
You want to compare notes with other families.
You're in the Cambridge area and embrace its inventive energy.

What we do

Code together, online and in person.
Share hairy problems and clever solutions.
Get together once a month to give and get feedback.
Create a supportive community for both "my deployment broke" and "my toddler broke."

Coding beginners and technical gurus are all welcome!

Some of us are just starting to become coding-curious. Others were building video games at age five. Nevertheless, we're united by two things:

  1. We get interrupted by at least one child every 4 minutes.
  2. Each one of us is the ultimate expert on our own family problems. There's no one better to design solutions that fit like a glove.

Maybe you've sketched out the perfect playdate scheduling app on a burp cloth. Or wished for a way to coordinate with your partner that doesn't involve sticky notes on the fridge or shelling out hundreds of dollars on a smart calendar.

Wherever you are conceptually, if you've daydreamed about streamlining your family logistics, The Nerdy Parents Club welcomes you.
